I have a difficult time filling out “About yourself” sections.  In person, I will constantly make statements about “who I am” and “what I do.”  In fact, you'll often find me declaring these things emphatically with an “always” or a “never” or “I am the kind of person who…”  The problem is - these things change constantly.  Even with my passionate exclamations, I am aware that I am changing in that very moment. 

This is why I have a hard time putting it into writing.

Here goes:  I am the kind of person who sees connections between things.  I absolutely love putting seemingly disparate concepts together and recognizing harmony between them.  I smile often and for long periods of time, even if only on the inside. I let my heart lead me everywhere - It's good for posture and being.   

I grew up in southwest Missouri.  I majored in Anthropology and Women's Studies, then I fell off the ivory tower and got my Masters in Social Work.  I have been in a near-constant state of transition for the last year, moving from Missouri to DC to Atlanta.  This year, I will move back to DC, then to Tanzania, Africa.  In January of 2009, I will come back to Atlanta indefintely.  I am just letting life unfold and being open to what I can do for the world. 

This year rocks.  This day, this week… rocks.  And from this point on, every moment continues to rock.  :)
